ESCUELA DE NEGOCIOS Y ADMINISTRACIÓN DE EMPRESAS SA (INSTITUCION PAU CASALS) is an institution dedicated to education, located in Barcelona, Catalonia and is specialised in the following areas:
a) Languages, b) Business Administration, c) Computer Science. The institution has experienced teachers in all the above-mentioned areas.
The education programmes are mainly addressed to adults, but the institution also provides language and PC courses for young pupils.
The institution, is teaching foreign languages, but also offering Catalan courses to pupils and adult learners.
Also it provides lifelong learning and continuous education courses for unemployed and working people.
Teaching at Pau Casals is provided with the latest technology: internet access, projectors, digital boards, audio-visual materials.

The institution has agreements with the Public Administration at National and Regional levels to carry out training courses for unemployed and working people and with the Local administration to carry out training courses for public officials within the local administration.

Also the institution has participated to many EC projects and has developed language tools for ES language. Such as:
2007-2009: INCA- Intercultural Calendar for Early Multilingual Learning, KA2 Multilateral projects
2008-2010: SOCIALSME (SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY THROUGH LEARNING IN SME), Leonardo da Vinci.
2010-2011: BIL-FAM (Let’s become a bilingual family). KA2 Multilateral projects.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT:

The partner’s role in the project was:

a) Participation to the project’s quality plan;
b) Participation to the web’s promotional part;
c) Participation to the needs analysis research;
d) Participation to the Management board;
e) Translation of the web’s promotional part;
f) Selection of Subjects/ organization of regional language material (Catalan);
g) Development of Catalan language material for: the Apps, Interactive web site, Books;
h) Recording of Catalan language material to a professional studio; Development of short videos with locals from the target regions.
i) Participation to four project meetings;
k) Participation to the pilot application of the project’s outputs (two phases) and evaluation of results;
l) Development of dissemination materials (pamphlets, posters, newsletters etc.) and organization of events;
m) Participation to the exploitation strategy and to the project’s sustainability.
